How Do I Chose a Letting Agent?

• The Total Letting Service would always advise you go to an ARLA registered agent (Association of Rental Letting Agents), as this is your guarantee of high standards of business practice. Also check the staff within the Letting Agency you are considering have experience and attend regular training courses.
• Also check how the letting agency comply with the new Tenancy Deposit Regulations.
• In our opinion it is advisable to consider a specialist letting agent rather than an estate agent who are primarily estate agents, with the sales side the dominant part of the business and started up a letting and management division when the sales market slowed down but who may not be experienced in this particular market.
